Will hopefully get a chance to make it over by the end of the weekend. Still need to hit up Stout Month.
While not the coolest style in the world, their rauchbier is dandy, too. They also have a tasty new black IPA, as well.
Comrade is still probably the only place I can think of where I have literally no clue what I'll order before I get there.

I plan on swinging by around 3:30 and grabbing a pint/growler to go. See you there?

Might be a bit early for my blood... I shoulda said late afternoon I guess, probably more like 4:30ish...

And you're right, @Domingo , that Black IPA is bomb (big fan of the Crotch Grabber collab too). But I didn't know they had a Rauchbier on tap... what's that one called?

EDIT: I'm an idiot, I had the rauchbier, the smoked lager. Very good - I read rauch and thought schwarzbier for some reason. Oh me!

There aren't many American rauchbiers and even fewer good ones. Theirs ("Smoke Shack") is one of the good ones.
While much heavier with the smoke, Ft. Collins Brewery has produced a few good ones, too.

    Beer.
    Carbonated.
    Cold.
An IPA... but like a double of it.

    That's all I need to know.

Specs: it's awesome. Like a slightly less dank 2x4...and not that far behind.

Depends on how fast you guys drink it. We'll be offering several kegs up for our regular accounts.

This brewery is 10 minutes from my new place of residence. Nice

I'll be checking it out shortly if for nothing else but the rauch.

I truly thought it was outstanding. Great balance. Tough to beat IMO.

I'll be trying this one today! It's about time I make it back up there too after my last (and 1st) visit was so awesome.

Ok, so I don't typically buy growlers on my bike rides, but Hop Chops was so ridiculous I got a 32oz. growler to go and biked home with it.

@dauss I'm not sure if it's in your business plan or not, but you need to start canning or bottling this stuff! And I really appreciate the 'yard signs' with arrows you put out on the Cherry Creek Trail, it made biking there incredibly easy.

^^^ It was definitely delicious, and like everything else from Comrade, very well balanced - not a palate wrecker but definitely has a big fruit hop body with some pine and citrus and a great malt backbone that starts sweet and finishes dry.

It would be sweet if they could get a crowler machine.

No cause I'd have to take out a 2nd mortgage with how much more I'd be spending at Comrade.
