Good job starting the Conclave thread for this year. In the era of cans cans cans I feel like they get a bit overlooked in the NJ beer scene now, but I’ll take them any day over most NJ breweries as far as consistency and variety. Conclave and Twin Elephant are basically the two places I still fill growlers. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wish they had more can releases but I like how they at least have a lot of beer available for fills and like a certain nearby brewery I won’t name you don’t have to arrive within the hour to get something. Need to get there next weekend to try their new release Tesselation.

I agree, their hours and distance make it difficult though. We went up a few weeks ago to meet up with one of my wifes friends and I really enjoyed Gravitational Waves. I hope they can expand as I would expect this would let them have more regular cans and just better opening hours. Seeing how small the place is I would think the limited hours are just a result of their small brewing system and capacity. They are only open for like 8 hours across 3 days of the week and closed sundays.

I know. Open only 6-8 on Fridays and not at all on Sundays is really bogus. I’m only about 20 minutes away and I often can’t make it in their window.

This thread deserves for attention. Drinking their latest double IPA, Tessellation, now and it is damn good!

Court of Lions cans tonight - go get ‘em! I couldn’t make the timing work tonigh, damnit, but looks like it’ll be on for fills with Tesselation. Should be able to swing by for that tomorrow, at least.

Def reccomend Tessellation. Conclave knocks out some amazing beers. They deserve way more attention on here. One of Jersey’s best for sure.

In the NJ Monthly article on the top NJ breweries, the note on Conclave cites the owners saying they are in fact expanding this year, which is great news. I've only been once as its not particularly close, but I do want to get back as I really enjoyed the beers.

Quite excited that the single hop exploration is still in the Conclave repertoire: eager to see how the new development in the “whole leaf single hop pale ales” play out

The new Citra pale is very good. Was pleasantly surprised by Lady in Grey. Dont remember ever having South African hops before to my knowledge but that beer was delicious. Super juicy.

Drinking a Court of Lions while watching Michigan - Florida and it’s even better now than when I bought it. Big flavor especially for a 6% IPA.

Hoping for a can release this coming weekend. Doing a bottle/can share and I was hoping to bring some Conclave for my coworkers who haven't yet had any Conclave.

Any news on them moving to a larger location? i believe I read an article that mentioned that they had plans to move to a larger space soon. Hope its true as last time i really enjoyed G-Waves, they are just so small and have such limited hours unfortunately.

A good weekend for NJ brews. Picked up cans of Gravitational Waves and half growlers of the saison, the west coast ipa Re:form and Trees of Green. All tasting great.

Stopped by today to get the two newest beers - Tesselation DIPA and the Mosaic Pale Ale. Had a pint of each so far. Have to say, even though the Tesselation is big and creamy I preferred the Mosaic. Very big taste, especially for a 5%er. Nice summer beer.

Mosaic Extra Pale is perfect for me. Tasted awesome. Low abv. I could only have that beer to drink and I would be 100% fine
