Hey all. Been holding this lager at 33 degrees for the past five weeks or so (first week was primary, second week was diacetyl rest, past five weeks cold lagering). Was just checking it, as I usually do in the evening (to make sure my mini-fridge-lager-cave is still working, etc.), and noticed that my airlock was bubbling a little, for the first time since secondary fermentation.

Is this normal? Is this fermentation? Could this be a sign of autolysis? I do have a little trub in the bottom of the carboy (about 1/2 inch worth).

    Thanks for any advice.

Probably just had to do with a rise in temp, even just 1-3 degress F can encourage the co2 to escape solution. Have experienced this many times, I would'nt say it's anything to worry about. Hope this helps.

And the trub is just cause it's cold conditioning. Works kind of like a cold filter that's why lagers come out much more clear

Thanks, Justin. I was hoping it would be something innocuous like that.
