I'm bottling an amber ale tonight in 22oz bottles. How many brewer's best conditioning tablets per bottle should I use?

    Short answer: zero.

    Longer answer:
Zero conditioning tablets should be used.
Table sugar should be used instead of conditioning tablets.

By conditioning, OP (or Brewer's Best) mean carbonating. The word conditioning is often used to mean cleanup/aging, but also refers to carbonating in the bottle.

Yeah I am by no means an "experienced brewer" yet but have to agree with the folks here. The few batches I have done worked out much better using table sugar then the carb drops. Carb drops seem to have made my batch come out too carb'd so that batch was fizzy almost more like a cola or at least I attibuted this condition to the drops as any other batch using sugar have came out fine.
