Conical fermenter

    Yeah I plan to stir it in with a sanitized spoon that came with the fermenter. I worry about the over carb as well. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

    I bottled it on Wednesday and was surprised at how clear it was. I ended up with 5 six packs and 10 bombers. Will try one next weekend on day 10. Still concerned about the carbonation, too much or not enough.

    [​IMG] Impatience got the best of me (day 8 of conditioning). I put one in the fridge before I went to work and cracked it open as soon as I got home. I’m shocked, it’s better than I expected. It probably needs a good week or so more conditioning but the carbonation is perfect. It’s still pretty sharp with a resinous pine flavor and a little citrus, at least 60-70 ibu. It has a great smell and a slight creamy mouth feel but it finishes dry with a little lingering bitterness. It’s pretty strong, I often pick up a large 24 oz Heineken after work that’s 5% and one of my 12 oz gives me more of a buzz. I’m happy with my first try for sure. Thanks for the input and comments.

    Please excuse the cheap glass. Pleased overall, it was a fun learning experience. I'm doing a partial extract Amber next and then going to try BIAB. Thanks to all for the help.
