Looking for recommendations for a shop where I can pick up singles of various CT and NE beers. I'll be staying in Newtown for a couple weeks but will have a car and can drive around. We'll be making a couple trips into NYC so anything on the way would also work.

Stopping at treehouse my first day in and will be picking up a case+ so I don't really want to pick up 4-6 packs of things I'd like to try like lawsons, gbot, nightshift and anything else that's out there.

    Thanks in advance!

The best place I know of for what you're looking for is World Wide Wines and Spirits in Southington. They have a pretty big selection and allow you to seperate 4-packs/6-packs and take what you want. Not super close to Newtown, but not absurdly far

    Pre- welcome to Connecticut.

You could get to Total Wine in Milford in about 35 mins from Newtown.

They definitely allow singles there and have a pretty good selection of CT breweries.

There are also some solid CT breweries not too far from Newtown.
NOD hill in Ridgefield and Black Hog in Oxford are two.
If you like sours, than OEC in Oxford is a must hit.

Not sure about the Milford location, but the West Hartford Total Wine has a huge aisle of singles, but they aren't refridgerated and are usually quite old. Just an FYI

Yankee Wine and Spirits right in Newtown has a nicely curated selection. While you're there, stop in for a beer at My Place (same parking lot).

Thanks for the shoutout! Come visit us at Nod Hill Brewery (25 min drive down 84W and RT 7-S)

Also in West Hartford, Harvest- lots of great singles and REFRIGERATED. I was just there today, Black Bamboo Chinese place next door is also really good! This would be a slight pit stop off of 84 on way back from Tree House.

We're starting to see more of your stuff in central CT, haven't been upset with any yet, that's for sure. Keep it up Nod Hill!
