We have dedicated Fox Farm and NEBCO threads. Rather than dumping other brewery questions in the What’s on the Shelves thread, maybe use this for other CT brewery questions and releases?

New Park is releasing a Czech Pils this week - This & That. Has this been on tap previously? Any comments on the beer?

I think I might get some of that Triskel + other OEC beers delivered! Looks awesome.

Here’s another. I’m not familiar with either hop in Everbloom; anyone had a beer with one or the other?

I was told they pushed the next FBD release back a week to before the holiday weekend. I assume they meant Father’s Day.

They usually blow stuff out on “holiday” weekends. Very liberal interpretations of holiday as well.

Coles Road is opening this weekend in Berlin. Follow them on Instagram or Facebook for details. You have to pre-order (already sold out of some beers) and do curbside pickup.

Holy shit! It is really happening? I was beginning to doubt that the place existed.

What is next, Great Awakening opening (MA not CT but a similar story)?

So is this like 3 years in the making, or more?
Seriously though, hope they are successful. could be the most hyped and drawn out new brewery official open in CT.

So I'm in central NJ and I just picked Low Brow Nobility stout from Short throw (never heard of them).

I'm really impressed with this. It's not overly sweet and it has a nice balance between coffee and maple. It reminds me of Troon Stouts

It looks like the newest Untappd ratings have their brewery score crashing back down to earth. I figured the hype would be too much to live up to. They are still getting great scores but not at the 4.4 average they had before. How did they have 2,500+ reviews before they even opened?

I think they contract brew out of Twelve Percent. I feel like it might be harder to get noticed in that type of situation.

He poured his homebrew at a gazillion beer festivals and beer events. I had it in, I think, early 2017? I remember there was hype even then but I was not overly impressed. Not bad by any means, but just good, decent beer, nothing special. Over the past couple of years, watching people hype it even more has been a bit wild. He gifted many people many bottles of his homebrew and many of those people acted like it was the best beer EVAH! And of course, they posted pics all over Instagram and Facebook because they were in a "secret" club where they could get special beer that not everyone could get. In the local Facebook group, people were begging to be let in on the secret on how to get the beer.

Seeing it all unfold over the years has been...crazy.

Does anyone know if OEC is open for draft pours outside? I can't find an official announcement on their site or social medias, but I see people checking in on Untappd.
