    Hey Everyone

I am new to the forum but I have had a lot of fun reading random threads and I thought it would be fun to spice it up a bit. So, everyone raise your shields and lets start a thread where we are able to drop our controversial opinions about certain beers without being judged....too hard anyway.

I'll start. I respect the hell out of what Three Floyds did for the craft beer scene and what they continue to do with Dark Lord Day and their expansion and such, but, they have never clicked with me. I find all of their stuff to be way too "serious" and just have a hard time leaning into any of their stuff. Overrated.

And remember, this is just a thread for fun, nothing to argue about. Opinions are opinions, afterall.

People who down vote good beers because they don't like the style (especially sours) are the worst people on BeerAdvocate.

    This. Seconded.

Also, Habanero Sculpin belong down the sink.

And Pilsner in general taste like sweating feet.

And a followup, people who complain about infected batches when they knew the risk purchasing the product are also terrible. No sympathy.

I was thinking about posting this too. But, the major case I remember was that knucklehead on Untappd bashing some Evil Twin brew and one of the brewers from Evil Twin just killed him for making such a silly claim.

I will destroy some Bud Light Lime on the beach during the summer time and feel no regrets.

If it is a style I do not like, or someone knocks a beer I do like I try to ignore the post. I usually do not comment on/like posts about beers I do not know.

I really like peanuts and peanut butter, but all beers with peanut flavor suck.

I really like maple syrup, but all beers with maple syrup flavor suck.

Coffee beers are terrible. "Hazy" beers aren't hazy, they're murky and turbid. A lot of barrel aged beers could use less time in the barrel. Kids don't belong in bars/breweries.

I want Pilsners to take off, but, everyone that is trying them today is just hopping the crap out of them in the secondary, it is weird. So it is like sweating feet that just walked through a farmers field. Lovely.

Beer names are becoming increasingly stupid. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a good hop pun or pop culture reference every now and then. But some beer names are too long, basically complete sentences, or taking a meme too far.

I'm finding myself being drawn back to macro beers due to how hard it is to consistently find fresh representations of what I like (e.g. fresh IPA's), along with having a harder time accessing limited release beers. I'm finding that even when I find what I want, oftentimes the hassle wasn't worth it. (But then I have a lucky moment of finding something rare or being at a great tasting event, and I'm drawn back in).

I really love spicy food and hot sauces, but I can't stand chilies in my beer.

Although I do love coffee both in a mug of its own, and in my beer.
