Yeah it's a shame, but the internet has snarky aholes everywhere. Just wish we had a more diverse community on here.

The idea of a session +- 4%, is to enjoy multiple ones, and still function.Thirst quenching even.

Modern women aren't fragile, man. Besides, I haven't read any misogynistic or sexist posts here, have you?

I'll drink the hell out of a pilsner or kolsch but session IPA is where I draw the line. MOST of the time they are just a watered down pale ale.

I personally wouldn't buy a rare or expensive NEIPA at more than two or three weeks old. The flavour may not be substantially affected between a week and a month and a half or so but the appearance and mouthfeel (or the perception of mouthfeel due to appearance, if you insist) changes quite rapidly.

Now that right there, that's a controversial opinion.

Mostly you can't tell from avatars. I just assume that most of you are men because (not to generalize or anything) women have better things to do with their time and because I'm a narrow-minded bigot.

And power to you for it: that's how I get the vast, vast majority of my beer. My point is just that you might get a sense from some of the posts on BA that a bottle release line is like an angrier, more aggressive version of black friday lines, and they (usually) aren't. I'd even go so far as to say that they can help foster the sense of beer community that some posts have claimed is lacking these days.

I agree Hill Farm is one of the best, but how is it underrated? Don't they constantly win, or remain in the top 10 for best breweries in the US? Also, I've been there, and it's in the middle of nowhere. If you put it in the middle of Brooklyn like Other Half, it would be a whole new ball game.

Ten Fidy and BA Ten Fidy are the only good beers Oskar Blues makes.

    ...This is liberating.

That's not as controversial as it is incorrect.

I'll agree that they are the only beers that I tend to drink from them, though.

    Opinions are subjective, thus controversial.

And also, I don't fully believe what I said but I do think a lot of their beers suck.

any mention of malt liquor that isn't a negative. you'll usually get replies like "if you're looking to get trashed just drink vodka and crystal light" or "only homeless people drink malt liquor" or "might as well drink MD 20/20 while your at it".

basically, on BA it's only okay to drink giant bottles of beer if it's hoppy, brewed my a small independent facility and costs at least $10 a bottle.

If you click on a user's profile it tells you if they are male/female.... avatar is irrelevant. But don't we all like beer and talking about it, regardless of gender?

It's underrated to me because, in my opinion, it can basically never be rated highly enough, so even though it's constantly top 10, it should always be top 1 unless an absolutely amazing new brewery comes around.

I don't know what location has to do with the quality of the beer, which is all I am talking about.
