Or maybe you just shouldn't buy weird-ass novelty beer?

I usually don't buy anything I don't think I will like, but sometimes you buy a clunker...

I am glad you are here to guide us all through this difficult thing we call life. I don't know what BA would do without you.

Never had it and may just have to agree this might just be a drain pour. After looking it up and reading reviews and description this just sounds fucking disgusting and you should've been wiser to have not ordered it. Garlic and pizza sauce in a beer? An alcohol infused liquid pizza? What the hell are you expecting the beer to taste like? If your a dumb enough sucker to order it then yes I say man up and drink it. Sounds me it was made correctly but the concept itself would most likely taste like vomit.

I'm down. I'm MUCH nicer in person. I know that's hard to believe. I mean, it's not like I could be MORE douche-y, right?

Last time in England I saw several of the shape, but they held 20 Imperial ounces.

Nonics were designed for glasswashing machines ( it is illegal to wash by hand and dry with a towel so all pub glasses go into the machine)....... unlike straight glasses they do not chip or crack with rough handling. The name "Nonic" stems from No Nick.I quite like them particularly when full.

This thread (and the beer pet peeve thread) is reminding me of BA circa early 2000s)

    :slight_smile::popcorn::beer:

A little controversy is good for the soul.

I have one that was unpopular until recent.....

I always liked can beer better.

    And this one.....

I think from a brewers perspective, these NEIPAs are not hard to make because you can have the luxury of completely skipping any type of filtering process.

    FYI

100% barley malt + weizen yeast (fermented warm)= dampfbier

    http://allaboutbeer.com/article/dampfbier-gose-munster-altbier/

Local Option -dampf loc was a tasty example, I thought.

Yeah I spoke sloppily, sorry. I should have said something like "light, yeasty beers" to cover hefeweizens since I was thinking of the category in a broad sense..

And I was meaning to take a jab at the fact that people will always find something to complain about rather than an actual jab at yeast esters. I don't find much value in the "NE IPAs don't taste like beer" argument so it's never one I'd seriously levy at the various yeast heavy beers (or any beer really. Well, NotYourFathersRootBeer can suck it I guess).

I do think I'd agree with TongoRad that those beers have wider appeal (and potential for even wider appeal) than you're giving them credit for. I think the NE IPA phenomenon was a perfect storm of various factors that goes beyond the fact that they are approachable and taste good. But that would take this sidebar farther than it probably deserves to go in this thread anyway

Not to mention most shakers are 16 oz. at the rim, making pouring a 16 oz. beer into them (arguably the most popular size for beers today) annoying as fuck.

Nonics allow plenty of room for head.

Have ten less pages in this thread?

    I actually like Zima.
