I recently acquired a "beer fridge", and thought it would be cool to decorate it with some homemade bottle cap magnets. I was sorting through some old caps I had laying around, and I made a shocking discovery.

For example, I noticed some of the Firestone Walker caps had "We Are Living Beer" printed on the inside of the cap. But my favorite was the Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine (2013) cap which had a very detailed image of a bigfoot sitting around a campfire with two dudes drinking beer. I was impressed that such an image could be printed on a small area such as a bottle cap. What surprised me the most though was that I never even noticed these phrases/pictures on the bottom of the bottle caps before. Now I wonder how often these things go unnoticed. Does anyone know of any other cool bottle caps? I'm thinking of starting a collection.

I like the different quotes on some of Stones bottle caps.

I believe Magic Hat has sayings on their caps, as well.

I never really took much notice to the caps until I started working on building a countertop out of bottle caps. I've got nearly 2k of them on the countertop and shelf I built. Once I started laying them out, I really gained an appreciation for the various artwork on some of them.

Ayinger from Germany has the greatest caps ever (especially their last one). A long line of different-year Bigfoots is always a purty sight, too. WAY too many to list...just ask BottleCrowns!

I was thinking of doing the same thing. What magnets work best and where do you buy them?

I bought a pack of 50 round magnets from Walmart for about $5. They seem to have worked just fine.
