Anyone want to help update this wiki page on coolships, including a comprehensive list of who has them?

Logsdon has one too. But not in a tree. It's dug into the ground and its super cool.

They used an actual truck, thus the name of the beer. It sits outside the brewery now. They put the chilled wort in the back and drove it around the brewery.

When I toured Kaspar Schulz, they were building Sierra Nevada's equipment for the Asheville location. They mentioned to us that they were building a coolship and I think they were also getting an open frame wort chiller as well. It was my understanding that they wanted to have a brewhouse that would be able to brew any style of beer in the traditional manner. It was very cool to see it getting assembled, but I would really like to go see it up and running.

Exactly! I purchased a couple of bottles from the guys when they were up here for GABF. I haven't tried it yet, but the idea and the label make it just about the greatest thing ever!

I have a couple big, open fermenters that I use as coolships at Orpheus. It will be awhile before any of those barrels are emptied though.
