I am reposting this here, I posted first in the "Cellaring/Aging" forum but didn't get any bites:

I used to live in Oklahoma and had access to the delicious gem DNR. Before I left I bought ten bottles and have been drinking them slowly over the past 2.5 years. It's getting better with age, but I couldn't control myself and I only have one bottle left. Trying to see if anyone out there has aged this beer and might know when it peaks. I emailed COOP and they estimated it would be good out to ten years, but that's just hypothesis not proven.

Sidebar: heard it's only in cans now. Truth? No bottles? Thoughts on how this will effect the ability to age? When I was there it was only offered on draft or bombers.

I can't speak to the aging of the beer, but I feel like it tastes different in a can. Anyone else taste a difference?

Not sure as to aging but I've only seen it in cans. Just got back from Oklahoma yesterday.

Truth. I have only seen cans. I haven't seen a bottle of it in a long time.

They went to cans, but not sure if they dropped the bottles. Hoping they would keep them. And I don't see any reason you couldn't keep a bottle of it up to 10 years under perfect conditions.

Different good or different bad? I just bought some cans today. Also picked up Elevator and Gran Sport in cans.

I did not like the can as much as I like it on tap.

Elevator is great in cans. Better than what I remember on tap at Tapwerks.

The Gransport isn't quite as good as on tap, but still a nice porter...
