To the BA who posted about drinking this and a few of us said the Real Ale was only a homebrew product, we were wrong. I found this can in my collection:
Cooper's Real Ale was bottle fermented and poured cloudy with a yeasty sediment. A fine tasting brew, it evidently had a high ABV, or perhaps it was all that yeast, but I got pretty 'cloudy' myself while enjoying this tasty brew back in the 1970's or 80's. Hadn't ever seen it in a can, as it was available here in bottles. I'm actually surprised they stopped making it, because it was both unusual and quite enjoyable back in the day.
You "can collectors" crack me up! (Stares at his vintage Ind Coope Double Diamond "leaker-can" longingly...)
