As a project for homebrew club I had to make a beer on Monday with kveik and keg and have finished by Saturday. Went to test FG and I’m finished but beer has a sulfur aroma. Normally I’d let this beer sit and the sulfur would go away on its own.

I’ve read that stirring with a copper wort chiller while leading to oxygenation will remove the sulfur fast... any idea how long to stir with the copper? Any other tricks?

    Edit: Copper lol

Run it through some copper tubing as you transfer it to the keg.

copper brillo pads are also a good trick...tie off to floss, and give just a short contact time or just rack over it..just need the oxidative rxn to get rid of that reductive stink...

Yes, copper and sulfur have an affinity.

I read somewhere that tossing a copper penny or 2 into the kettle works, but never tryed it.
