Was wondering if Copper Kettle Mexican Stout is readily available? I'm in Michigan and would love to try this. Is it worth trading for? Has anyone compared it to the non BA versions of Mexican Cake or Abraxas?

It is a solid beer, but if you are expecting something along the lines of Abraxas or Mexican Cake I don't think you are going to get what you are looking for. It is a solid beer, but much more spice heavy IMO. Is it worth trading for? Yeah, I think so and I am sure you can find someone in Colorado that will send you some for some Michigan goodies.

It's common enough. Some stores always have bottles, and you can buy them at the brewery, too.
Like Steve_O mentioned, the spicing is far more extreme than most similar offerings. Both the peppers and cinnamon give it some heat, so it can be overwhelming for some people. The common opinion is that a bomber is perfect for splitting 4-5 ways, although I'm one of the few people who can (and have) polish off one by myself. I love it, but fully understand how someone might not. Plus, due to the nature of the peppers and cinnamon, batches can definitely vary.
It won a GABF Gold a couple years ago, so when it's at its peak, it's an elite beer.

I can't say it's my favorite, but I'm not a fan of cinnamon in beer (although I love cinnamon otherwise). It really has a lot of cinnamon in it. Personally, I'd rather have chocolate yeti.

A ton of stores have it in stock and cheaper than purchasing it at the brewery.
I suggest going to the brewery, try it and if you like it, drive a block to Wallaby's and buy the bombers.
The rest of their beers are worth trying as well. While only a couple of their beers have made my favorite list (MCS is one of them), they tend to do pretty much everything well.
