    Hi All,

Going back to the UK on Friday, for a wedding in Scotland

But we decided to make a holiday out of it, and go to two parts of the country we've never been to before.

    We're staying:

    Cornwall - nr Portscatho
    Cotswolds - Northleach

Any must see pubs or breweries in either area, please send them my way. Also very open to some good cider as well.

    Cheers

I love cornwall, used to spend many a summer holiday there with my grandparents

I was back in Falmouth recently but on a decidedly unbeery trip

These bloggers live somewhere in cornwall and have, might help you

If you are back near glasgow beware its the commonwealth games so travel can be a bit of a nightmare

And shit - good point re: Glasgow. Wedding is in Ayrshire, but I'm doing a night in Glasgow the day before to see my dad. Thanks for the warning

Well the city is buzzing, free events at the kelvingrove bandstand, the BBC, Merchant City, Glasgow Green etc. So well worth checking out if you have the time

While in the Cotswolds take a visit to a Hook Norton brewery, one of the last surviving Victorian breweries, they also have an old engine, the tour also includes a good sampling session.

Then a visit to The Norman Knight up the road would be a goo idea, not a Hook Norton pub but they brew their own (using A Hook Norton yeast allegedly

A bit closer is The Porch House in Stow-on-the-Wold, part of which is believed to date back as far as 947ad, they serve Brakspear.

Cornwall was awesome - can't believe I've never been before

Cotwolds was also great - Porch House was a great call
