Drank my last crowler of Juice Beyond tonight and it was pretty much a perfect beer.

Continue to be amazed by how long their beers hold up over time. I might go as far to say tonight’s JB was better than any of the 4 I’ve had over the last 4 weeks or whatever. Bravo! Currently the #1 ranked Chicago juice factory in imho....

Likewise finished my last Juice Beyond crowler last night and it was top notch.

I've generally had the same results with Corridor beers, but I did notice that it seemed like my cans of the last Squeezit release from early March didn't hold up well for me. It seemed like they lost a lot of that juiciness and became more malty around a month or so. That very well could have something to do with my drinking habits during this time pretty much just being IPAs, most of which were hazy, so I wondered if anyone else had cans from that release that didn't seem to hold up as well.

My current curiosity about Corridor is what is going to be canned next? A return to Squeezit? A Cosmic Juice Box repeat? Something different?

I'm telling you guys, all these local hazys get drastically different by minor variables whether minor age differences, how the can settles (do you just open it, roll it first, store it upside down) and/or temperature variations. I'm never seen anything as finicky as these.... I truly believe a 4 pack blind taste test would lead people to believe they have 4 different beers if you served 1 at 50 degrees, one at 50 degrees, but rolled it first, one at 65 degrees, and one at 65 degrees, but rolled it first..

I mean, isn't that simply the case with most kinds of beer though? If I buy an Orval and I roll it around before I drink it I'm going to have a different beer than if I leave the yeast sediment on the bottom.

Is it changing the flavor and mouthfeel that much? I don't get that from rolling a wheat/heffe with sediment. I can roll around an Alpha King and it's still going to taste the same as if I didn't. It is also going to maintain a similar flavor through while adjusting to temperature. NEIPAs are hazy beer and something seems to settle out changing the flavor after days/weeks.

I'll tell you right now, 3 day old Zombie Dust and 3 week old Zombie Dust taste vastly different.

I did yesterday. Typical quality Corridor NE style brew. At this point I don't even know what else to say. They're at the top of the Chicagoland NE IPA game and this one won't disappoint either. Not sure I like it as much as Cosmic Juicebox, Highway to Haze or Squeezit, but I'd drink it all day. It's very good.

Has anyone been to corridor for its Monday after five deal burger beer and a shot of whiskey for 15 bucks? I am Going tomorrow and was wondering if it’s only certain beers. I figure the whiskey will be something entry level but still solid like makers or woodford reserve.

I've had the Monday burger special before. I was able to choose any beer on the menu and there was only one choice of bourbon (I think it was Old Grand Dad). The burger is good too.

Any updates on hazy taps? Website is showing last update of 4/26. Not seeing info anywhere else. Sounds like Duke Juicem is solid. Other recs that'll be on tomorrow @dubo09 ? Thanks!

I love this place, was there last night. The DDH update is that they have Duke Juicem and Salute Your Simcoe but ran out of Ryders on the Haze. And a "stay tuned" sign on the blackboard.

I was sad to miss both Duke and Ryders today, but I have to say I'm a big fan of their Helles lager, and that coconut coffee stout is excellent.
