I've used them all. Either one you use, I recommend packing the bottles (especially if they don't "fill up" the spaces allowed. Bottom line is to make sure nothing moves inside the box.

I've used tray shippers, styro shippers, and Spirited-style shippers. The advantages of tray shippers are they're light, don't squeak, and hold bottles securely. The advantages of Spirited-style shippers is that they're light, don't squeak, and pack down small for storage. The advantages of styro shippers is they can be tweaked to fit multiple smaller bottles per slot and hold bottles securely.

Given a choice I would not use Spirited-style shippers again, as they really don't hold different-sized bottles as securely as the other two types, so bottles can end up rattling around, which is (as Pat says) a Very Bad Thing. If they weren't so bulky to store (and environmentally odious), styro shippers would be my first choice.

As it is, I've been using tray shippers from Gorilla Shipper. Their delivery can be slow and their ordering system is low-tech, but the boxes and trays themselves are very good quality.

I recently received a couple bottles in those tray shippers @Yohann is talking about. I am a big fan. Thanks for the link on where to actually get em!

All work well. As others said just make sure you put extra packing in there to avoid to much jostling
