The Costco in South San Francisco has a pretty nice range of selection Black Butte XXV for $12. Bruery Anniversary for $25. To name a few.

Grabbed some FFF Moloko and Arctic Panzer Wolf from local Costco in OH. Wanna say they were about $11 a bomber plus tax.

$11.99 at Costco west of Cleveland. State minimums in Ohio keep them from discounting too much - about the same as everywhere else. $2.00 over the price at the FFF brewpub isn't too bad, I guess. They had ruinten there late last month. Was a pleasant surprise.

It appears to be a Cali thing. Here in Washington, where Costco was born, they seem to prefer to flog hard liquor over craft beer......

I was wondering if it was a mistake somehow. Call your local Costco and ask if they have that item number. Takes 5 seconds. If they don't have it, they can tell you which Costco does.

The Costco nearest me has Rodenbach Gran Cru at $8.99/750ml. Never had, never even had a sour before, but was hesitant to buy. I'm thinking 9 bucks is still a pretty good deal for it?

Wow, after doing a little research on it, I feel pretty dumb. $9 for a world class beer seems like a no-brainer. I'm just hoping I don't get sucked into the expensive world of sours after I try it.

Heads up to @Redneckwine, I got bottles of Rodenbach Grand Cru for $4.97 at the Kirkland branch of Costco about a week ago. I only bought three as it wasn't until I looked at the receipt that I saw the price. Worth a look perhaps.

Nice, thanks for the heads up. Think I'll mosey on over to Costco tomorrow to get a few bottles. That seems like an unreal deal for such a quality beer (apparently). They must be trying to blow it out. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying it.

I'm a couple hours south of you @Redneckwine. My Costco has had the Rodenbach since before last Christmas. I bought some then and it's been sitting (I go virtually every week).

Also notice the asterisk in the upper right. That means it will be gone whenever the last turds find a home.

In Australia, the government is stupid. They can't even sell alcohol within a supermarket :slight_frown: I envy you , my friend!

And the price ending in $.97 indicates that Costco has marked it down to clearance. Most normal Costco prices end in $.99

Similarly with Sam's Club, if a price ends in 1 (i.e. $5.41) it is clearance. I bought a bunch of Chimay Red, White, Blue 3-packs with chalice for $5.41... normally sells for around $17 at TW. :grinning:

My Costco lowered those turding Rodenbach Grand Cru's to $2.97. I have to go back tonight or tomorrow so I might grab one. Hopefully nearly a year of fluorescent lights and room temperature didn't completely kill it.

That's about standard for those beers. Surprised they weren't able to shave $1-2 off. Still, crazy to see them ratchet up production to Costco levels! Kinda makes you wonder about the whole "We don't have room to make enough ZD" BS.
