I was wondering what beers you all are seeing at your Costcos. I appreciate any intel you can give me. Cheers! I am especially interested in cans and 24 packs.
I gave up on costco beer finds 6 months ago. If you don't frequent "your'' local costco you might end up with a 6 month old IPA that tastes like shit!
Pretty much. Truck chasing/release chasing at Costco is nothing more than the luck of the draw. There's no rhyme or reason to when they put it out or how much it'll be or anything like that. Just consider it a happy accident while you get your tub of mayo and rotisserie chicken.
I was able to find some Gubna that was canned in March of this year at some OC Costcos this week...Hit up Oskar Blues and they said they will take care of that. They do however have 12 packs of Grapefruit Sculpin for $22 @Irvine location that are within a month of being canned.
San Diego Costco - Carmel Mountain Location: 24 pack of Ruination 2.0 for $42.99 24 pack of Grapefruit Sculpin for $44.99
Would be nice if people could include the can/bottle dates on these posts. Costco beer is sometimes very fresh but sometimes a little dated, which isn't good given the warm storage.
That's been bottle conditioning for at least sixth months at Costco ambient temperature (which is a lot better than a certain bottle store that rhyme with "flem", but I digress).
