A growler's worth of dragons milk??? That would make for one wild night if you weren't splitting it with some friends. Haha

Considering most beers from Knee Deep are around 11% I use their tap room as a growler fill only tap room.

My take on this is that I've seen quite a few businesses, based on my own "what the hell are you thinking", succeed. I think there are many factors that come into play here. Location for sure - as several people have mentioned. How well the company is branded. Are they doing some things to involve themselves in the community. Are they likeable, etc. There is a lot to be said for the people factor. And if the service is outstanding, these things can really add up.

Dont know, but I know I wouldnt be there often. Not a big fan of growlers unless it is something that I absolutely cant find in bottles or cans, and even then I only like them if I plan to drink quickly.

To predicate a business on growlers is risky unless someone has a unique location. Growlers are a labor intensive addition to regular retail outlets, but if properly staffed, growlers can give a smart retailer a really strong angle. Really unique draft choices to take home makes friends quickly.

Actually, Growler only shops are springing up all across the country in states where they are permitted... and doing very well! We have just started franchising our concept and our flagship store in Eugene, OR is rocking it!
