Living in RI I don't have access to many of the whales that people are always searching for. So I never have much bait to get anything cool (like Pliny the Elder or any of the Bourbon County Stouts). Looking through my stash I saw a beer I forgot I had:

I have no idea how easy it is to get this brew. I would imagine it can't be hard seeing that my wife bought it for me at a local mix-a-six joint.

It's got a couple of years of age on it.

Any body have any idea the value (or lack there of) of this brew?

    Thanks in advance!

Actually, now that I think of it, my question really isn't "could this land me anything rare?" It's what could this land me?

I don't think I've noticed that one on shelves but I do see a good amount of the de dolle stuff on shelves around here so it may not land you much but I really have no idea.

There's enough stuff either in RI or just across the border in MA that is well worth trading to BAs in other parts of the country. It really depends on what you are interested in trading for. If you are looking for locals from other parts of the country, what we have available is pretty darn good - Smutty, Pretty Things, Cisco Sours, etc. - if you're looking to land some rarer beers, you're going to have to start hitting the releases and/or ordering from abroad. Cheers.

BCBS has been semi hard to trade for this year as opposed to other years. I would be willing to bet you could trade for Pliny though.
