    Umm, yeah, he distributes their beer so he works directly with people at the brewery. Don't hate, 2013.

    I agree, people think just because you are in the Chicago area you are guaranteed to get one.. I doubt it

    It's not. Cherry Rye was almost impossible to find in the city. Hopefully it is abundant on tap throughout the city over the next several months!

    I suspect, and it pains me somewhat to support what he's saying here, that his broader point is that Ohio won't be seeing any Coconut Rye not because of an ABV cap but because Coconut Rye is advertised as Chicago only.

    I'm hoping I can trade my only bottle of cherry for it as I've had it on tap multiple times and don't think I'll miss it or that it will age to be any better. It seems like the amount of people clamoring for BCS variants goes up exponentially each year, I'm assuming 500 people in line at Binnys LP on Black Friday.

    If Coconut is done by lottery there like Cherry was last year, it may be worthwhile to investigate other places that will get it...

    Edit: Not that Vav made the wrong call on Cherry. Just that guarantee to get it > chance.

    Oh, I know... also we have no idea what goose island clybourn or vav have up their sleeves. I feel like post Rocky 5 Tommy Gunn, I don't have much fight left in me. Maybe I let the young, voracious truck chasers have em all and I sleep in. Whom I kidding, where we lining up?
