Doubt anyone is that excited about 312 and their other year round options. Vintage ales, bourbon county or nothing!

It says in the article that they're CLOSE to having the largest barrel program with 3,000 barrels... who has the biggest right now?

I think Founder's barrel program is pretty big

I probably won't be buying much, if any of the yearly stuff. But I hope this expands people's horizons a bit and through GI they discover this other world without BMC. That said shelf space is limited as is for good beer...I'd rather not have another macro jamming out better smaller craft brews. Bring on Nikasi, Founders, and Bell's.

Realistically speaking, the only GI beers we'll be seeing for a while will probably be beers like 312 and Honkers. Don't hold your breath for BCS and sours like Lolita in the near future. Last ETA I got from Silver Eagle for the core brands is late September or early October.

I'd be surprised if we didn't see limited amounts of the entire line up.

Scraps for the cur's in Tejas? I'd rather see none than 20 cases for the state...

If those 20 cases come to Austin I'd be cool with that! I enjoy Sofie and Matilda, are those considered a part of their year round offerings?

After the minor shitstorm over JK's stuff in Austin, I'd gladly pay to see the Austin BA's tear each other up for cases of KH and BCBCS

Unfortunately, I think you're right. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get their barrel aged stuff. I just visited some friends in Seattle and they were telling me how they haven't seen much of their top stuff since 2010. Iowa gets GI but they barely get anything good (they didn't even get Juliet and they only got one case of vanilla).
I would love to see the good stuff, but I'm not holding my breath.

More quality beer selections in Texas is a good thing no matter how you slice it. Bring it on.

That was more of a delay in delivery than it was a lack of supply. When I walked into Spec's yesterday looking for BBXXIV there were plenty of the JK bottles on the shelf. Plus, the hype around King Henry and BCBS is justified, in my opinion. I wasn't a fan of the Beer Geek series.

Considering online vendors (one that I know ships to Texas that shall be unnamed) have Sofie and Matlida on sale now, I expect we will get those quickly.
