I really didn't want to drop more money on beer this weekend but dammit, Counter Weight got me again.

Man I’m resigned to that fact. At this point I need to insert a “counterweight” line into my household budget.

I think I do that some weeks by just saving my money for Fridays instead of giving it to a local store!

Slumbering behemoth and ist taste like bandaid to me. I much prefer ceno stout.

Woah, Total Inundation sold out. They posted that at 6 p.m. There was a big rush at open. I got there right at 3 and there was a line. Was out in 15 minutes. 20 cases of Slumbering left.

Luckily got a bunch of total inundation. Definitely the busiest I’ve seen it when I got there around 5ish

    So much for the secret.

I got there around 345 yesterday and it was busy, but it seemed like most people were there just drinking. I must have squeezed in during the lull between the post-opening rush and the post-work rush. I Was able to grab my cans and immediately checkout.

Had a total inundation last night and it was very nice. Lots of pineapple, nice mouthfeel, and fairly smooth for the big abv. I’m not really a triple IPA guy but this made me really enticed to seek out their other IPA options.

Slumbering Behemoth was also great. My wife will always take a BA stout or an adjunct stout over a regular stout but even she said it was delicious.

I’ve hit up CW a few times since it first opened and regulary grab their Pilsner when I see it around, but this trip combined with my last purchase of Void really has me thinking I need to head over there more frequently.

I will say despite it being busy and the cans going relatively quickly I was able to grab my cans and have a few pours and waited like 5 mins total for anything. So it was still a nice atmosphere.

Been awhile since this topic was bumped. Thought I'd bring it back up by noting that CW is teasing that they are releasing a new DIPA called Critical Mass in stores. If you look at their Instagram story today it says "hitting store shelves soon."

Truth. But only about 450 cases for the entire state. Assume most in NH County.

Crucial Mass is straight fire. Love this beer!

ONLY New Haven and Fairlfield, per CW. More to come after that for the rest of the state.

I imagine with their increased capacity we should start seeing a 3rd CW shelf beer on the regular throughout the state.

Very excited for Talisman tomorrow, missed out on the first release. Not that I need 20 cans but did they cap at 3 four packs last time?

Nice surprise that Double Inundation was ready today instead of tomorrow. Got my beer for Christmas!

Got 2 4pks of Crucial Mass at my local packie. Fantastic value at $14 per 4pk!

Thrilled to heat about that price! Hope it's similar at most places.

Just want to quote my own post. 11/30 cans of Workhorse are fantastic.

Headway is beautiful; Crucial Mass in distribution; perhaps Void in the next month or two. Just amazing. Then add in the brewery releases. Love CW.
