They must be still working at consistency, I've had it on draft once and in cans twice from two different batches and every experience has been different from taste and looks.

Pretty chill time today, even as the tasting room got increasingly crowded. I really enjoyed both new beers, but I think I slightly prefer Wizard Fight for its Mosaic dankness.

Was there ever a long line for cans? Trying to get a feel for how their releases are going to be crowd-wise.

I arrived around 12:30. Waited about 15-20 minutes for cans. Both beers are very good.
    Cheers!

Really digging the Workhorse Pils, would love to see this on CT shelves in the near future.

Anyone done a side by side with Elm City to see which they prefer?

I slightly preferred Elm City when I did this but that could be a product of general nostalgia more than anything else. I felt like Elm City showcased the grassy qualities from the noble hops more (and was especially more intense on the nose) while Workhorse was much softer with more lemon. Both are excellent and I hope they'll continue to be available for the rest of the summer.

Creature Preacher is listed as a Pale Ale and it is worth a try. I believe they are giving NEBCO a run for their money. Not that they are trying to but having cans of your beer readily available is an edge. If NEBCO canned more of their beers life would be good. IMHO. Only my opinion, please don't kill me or my children:slight_smile:

I don't really go out of my way for growlers. Between that and tree house being as out of my way as nebco I've never been.

Just made my first trip to counterweight. I like the brewery. The tap room reminds me of relic. I got there at 3:30 today and wasn't busy. I'm very impressed with the second batch of space coyote. I love headway too. This is much better imo but I'm a sucker for galaxy. IMO counterweight pulls off these 6% ipas very well without feeling lacking. I should have just picked up a full case and I'll be back.

Soundcheck was good too. I wouldn't have gone out of my way for that alone. Space coyote I would again and will.

Honestly curious, no snark, how does the taproom remind you of Relic? Relic is small with no seats. CW has two huge levels, seats, tables, games, etc. Did you go upstairs? If not, next time don't miss it. Pretty cool environment to hang out and get full pours, bring in food, play some games.

Where's Void? I'd like to try it sooner rather than later. Not sure what the plans are before the summer months kick in. Latest version of Space Coyote sounds and looks divine. I gotta score me some cans. Very much enjoyed Creature Preacher.

Yeppp that new Space Coyote batch is nuts. Spiral Architect cans were great too.

I wanted to head back for that spiral, just couldn't get down that way.

I agree. I wish that I had just gone for a full case. That space coyote is good stuff. I also grabbed a pint of the grisette. Was not expecting to enjoy that remotely as much as I did. I'm really regretting not stopping by last week for cans.

I did two four packs of each style on Saturday. Happy with that choice. Got to try Audition: Soundcheck, which was great. The Creature Preacher was another favorite of mine, got cans of that a few weeks back too. My buddy and I have been making the NEBCO -> Counter Weight trip on Saturdays and it's just great.
