I'm trying to hammer out plans to make it up there. If I can't make it today I will come up on Sunday. Tonight is my tasting groups "stout night " and that one would fit in very nicely.
Orange rum truffle is good. But gotta say, I kinda enjoyed against the grains orange version of Bo and Luke a lot better. I guess it is porter vs stout technically, but still, my feelings on it. The Mexican chocolate and espresso are sure to be way better.
Looks like I may be coming up tomorrow night and possibly staying through Sunday. Any chance on getting any of the Friday release. I know they had said one day only on each one initially.
mexican chocolate was on sale for less than an hour today. and it rules; way better than orange rum truffle
argh... Camped out for the release today. After 12 hours of graduate-level parking lot drinking, I barely made it through the sale line. Thankfully my wife showed up to drive me home.
I might have a friend heading to Lexington today. Anyone know if any off these bottles are still being sold at the brewery? Long shot I know but you never know unless you ask. I was surprised to see the bartender walk out with a bottle of the barrel aged black IPA for me weeks after the release.
Regular Rum Barrel Black Gold Porter may still be available, but none of the three anniversary bottles.
