Courage Directors availability

Hi all - my first post to this forum...

Does anyone know anything about the rarity of Courage Directors? It's been my favourite for close to 30 years but, of late, it's been getting harder and harder to source. So much so that, at the time of writing, there are only 3 mail order places. I've had bad experiences with 2 of those 3 (taking the money, failing to deliver on time, the usual rubbish from customer services) so I'm loathe to try a 3rd. I can't find any on the high street.

The time was this was served in most Weatherspoons and Asda even stocked it last year but (so far - might be a seasonal thing) not this year.

Does anyone know if it's being discontinued or, heresy I know, suggest something similar?
