    Hello all,

I am creating a few articles on some special glasses I own (mostly from old, extinct breweries) and I am trying to gather info from the web.

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I could find out, Coyote Springs was a microbrewery brewing hand crafted beers in Phoenix, Arizona. The brewery shut down sometime in the late 1990s but I could not find an exact year. I have a few questions if anyone could help out.

When did this brewery close and why?

    How famous was it?

How many types of beer did they brew and of what quality?

Do you know if this glass below was a brewery tour glass or just the regular brewery glass?

Thank you in advance for any responses

It was a good enough place for the time, 7 bbl brewhouse IIRC. Closed around 97 or 98. They opened a big downtown taproom, it did not do well and it took them under.

The beers were pretty good, Andy Ingram who started Four Peaks received his training there. I heard two stories, one like posted above that the second location took them down, the other was that the owner and GM had a little bit of an issue with drugs. I saw Michael Jackson (the beer writer) there once with my Dad. Great time. I dont know about it being famous but it was one of the first breweries around in AZ. I think you could buy those glasses.
