Whenever I travel for work I make sure I have some good local beers, this time I'm having to work third shift though. Are there any bars with craft beer open early near Mesa/Gilbert? All I've found so far was Hambone which opens at 6AM but doesn't appear to have any craft beer.

If that fails I'll have to resort to buying a bomber of something local and cracking it open while I'm eating the continental breakfast at the hotel, which will probably get me some amusing looks.

Not in AZ, but I completely understand. I just ended a stint managing a team of 3rd shifters... there is ONE place in Austin that has full liquor/beer at 7am in Austin that also happens to be a coffee bar called The Spider House that also has 20 craft taps. I had MANY interesting mornings there after getting off work.

Install the new times happy hour app and see what shows up at that time. Mesa Gilbert might be tough. These places exist west valley - glendale, Phoenix, etc so there has to be something.

Some Denny's locations have beer, but nothing more than sam Adams or maybe bass ale sort of stuff.

I don't know of any craft beer bars open that earlier. What part of the country are you coming from? Are you up for a trade?
