I'm headed up to mt. Washington this weekend and was wondering if there are any good craft beer bars worth checking out in the area, I haven't heard about any standout breweries to try so I was hoping to atleast find a good bar

Moat Mountain is a solid choice for that area.

Definitely hit up Ebenezers. It's in Maine, but it's only a 35 min drive. Very worth it.

If you are taking 91, the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor VT is a great place to stop off for a break. Not far off the highway, reasonable food, good vibe, good beer and there is also a local products store across the parking lot that has great cheeses. There is a distillery there also, using all locally sourced grains if you like vodka.

I've never been to Moat, but I can give a +1 to the beers.

The Woodstock Inn on the Western side of the mountains recently renovated and increased the number of beers they have on their menu. I haven't been there in a while, but always enjoyed the beer and food.

There's a new brewpub in Littleton that I've been hearing good things about. I can't remember the name, but it's not the Italian Oasis. Their beers were awful and I think they closed.

Schilling Beer Company? They are turning out some very nice beers and their pizza is great as well. That said, it is about an hour or more from Mt. Washington area.

As other people have said Ebenezer's is great, especially if you are a fan of Belgian beer

MOAT!!!! Eat there, great Nachos, great beer.

Not a beer bar but Red Parka Pub is cool place with some decent taps.

Moats good. Very good food. Woodstock inn is a tourist trap. It'll be packed and annoying. And their beer is aweful. It is really just flavorless bad beer.

Tuckerman Tavern has a pretty good tap selection. I had Limbo at The Red Fox recently, but can't speak to what they have on these days. Can't go wrong at Moat. Nothing crazy good, but fresh, solid, local brews. The food is great, too.

Usually the cool thing to do once you start a thread is to interact with the people who suggested things to you, and then once you take the trip come back and tell them how it went. Usually.

It's a long weekend, so maybe don't get on his case about his weekend plans until the weekend is actually over. Maybe.

She was checking in at 7:30 Saturday night, so she isn't too busy to read.
