Recently my girlfriend made me craft beer cupcakes. She bought a mix specifically designed for craft beer to be added to the mix along with butter and an egg. The recipe turned out fantastic.

I was wondering, what other ideas are there to make at home with craft beer that aren't too difficult?

The great thing about the cupcakes were that you just added the beer to the mix. You didn't have to reduce the beer down.

One of my friends makes beer brownies using stout instead of water. The last batch was made with BCBS. He also uses coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. They are fantastic.

Recipe please! I just started a thread asking about which stout to use in brownies. I won't be using BCBS, but would love to have a recipe that actually lets the beer shine through.

He honestly uses Betty Crocker brownie mix and does the substitutions I mentioned.

Thanks for the replies! I'm thinking brownies might just be my next experiment!
