Craft beer in St. Augustine?

I don't know where to buy any cigar city up there but I know last time I went there we went to 2 places that had an awesome selection. Stogies and meehans Irish pub.

 

How far are you willing to travel to get Cigar City? Jacksonville for sure has some. You might be able to find some of their canned stuff in neighborhood supermarkets like Publix but that's about it.

There are two breweries in St. Augustine. Mile Marker and A1A Aleworks that are both pretty good as well.

Both ABC's in St Aug are terrible for craft beer. Not sure why when all of ours in the Tampa area are pretty decent.
Go to Broudy's Liqour at Cobblestone for the best selection in the area.

For bars, hit Stogies and JP Henley's.

If you can make it up to Jacksonville (45 min), there are a ton of breweries, and for package stores, go to Grassroots Natural Market and Beer:30.

Jacksonville has a hard time getting a ton of Cigar City, but if you're lucky, some of their standards might be around.

 

Mile Marker brewery is awesome. Also A1A ale works is a cool place in old town that has pretty good brews on tap, it's a Gordon biersch but still not bad.

 

Drive south to Daytona, and there's a place I went to that shared a spot with a Irish Pub that had a great tap list, and the guy had a good selection of bottles.. Prices were okay, the store was really tiny.

There wasn't shit in St Augustine, but A1A Aleworks, IMO.

 

Stogies and JP Henleys

 

JP Henley's is definitely the best place in St. Augustine for beer. Good sandwiches, too.

If you can swing a trip to Jax, the King St. area is a good place to visit.
