Stumbled on this while googling something else about craft...I've seen a few maps by magazines about beer representing states but i feel like this is a more craft map...how do you feel this map represents your state? Sorry for the small picture some states are hard to see
This is better than some other similar maps I've seen. For California, it's hard to pick two. NorCal, I would have picked Russian River though I'm biased, it's one of my favorites. San Diego might disagree with the other one.
I take it you didn't click the link or read anything then. Oh well. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it.
i did click it unless im doing something wrong all i see is a map about craft breweries per capita in that thread
Quickly looking at just this map, it seems to be 60% craft, 40% other. And Grand Teton is in Idaho. I prefer this map, though I disagree a lot with the choice for TX. St. Arnold and Real Ale are both bigger and better than Southern Star. CA will always elicit a discussion. So many good choices. But what breweries are a great choice?
As a native Texan now living in Florida, the shiner bock for Texas is funny as hell to me. If any thing ITS FRIGGING LONE STAR, lol do they even make it anymore??, dates my old ass.
I don't mind either sixpoint or brooklyn for new york I guess. I will say that the map with brooklyn on it is largely responsible for me trying their beer.
Sweetwater is Georgia's largest craft brewery and they do some great work. I understand why they were chosen on both maps but I'd prefer to be represented by Terrapin.
Works for me. Better than all the other one's I've seen. I especially like the way WI looks with the New Glarus thumbprint logo.
