I haven't been to bars on Lansdowne St or Yawkee Way in a while. Anyone know if any of the bars/restaurants have a decent craft selection? Cheers, Dave
a little closer to back bay is bukowskis --- that and lower depths are my go to's. i still like beer works as well but admit I haven't been to the one at Fenway in a long time
Probably going to be parking across the street from Fenway and walking to a restaurant. I'll have to see how far these are once we park. Thanks for the responses
I think Beer Works is kind of underrated again, I used to see huge lines there 10+ years ago when they were the only craft around Fenway and the beers weren't even that great. But the crowds seem more manageable with more options around and the beers have improved over time. Our first choice and where the ticket-holders and I go around 10 times per year because we're too lazy to make decisions each time is Yard House.
Cheeky Monkey is essentially right across the street, if I'm ever in town for a game I will usually spend an hour or so there decompressing. It's not incredible selection but it's not a bad spot to kill time.
Checks out: can't say I've seen a brewer mention malt twice in one sentence and add a clear looking photo for a DIPA release in 2018 like they do:
I agree. The Contender is a decent IPA and last time I was there they had a good Galaxy beer as well.
Jut went to the TD Garden location the other night and was impressed with Contender as well. Their old brewer must have left good instructions.
Malt in a beer is a lot like a quartz movement in a watch. Most people won't even notice, but it's a dealbreaker to those who do
Hit Cornwall's for the first time on Saturday night. Had no idea what to expect, wife recommended based on a few experiences there back in her BU days. Place was great. Grimm, Finback DIPAs on tap. Some other decent brews as well. Tater tots were outstanding.
Cask n' Flagon has been my favorite for many years. Big craft selection. I tried Bad Boy from Alpine on draught last year. High prices and it gets crowded in there after games but still fun. Food is average.
Go to Hojoko and get the cheeseburger. It is delicious! I think they also have a few decent, local beers on tap.
Tasty Burger is cool as well. Good selection, burgers are great and the price is right. Quick walk to the park.
