Hey, I'm just wondering what the demand for craft beer in Oconomowoc, WI is like. I know Sweet Mullets exists out there, but I am curious to know if there is a need for other breweries, or perhaps a craft beer bar. Do people know if there is enough of a market that would exist for a place with 25+ taps? Thanks for any feed back. Feel free to tell me more than what I have asked for. Any information is good information.
I think that's really tough to answer. It appears Sweet Mullets is doing okay, despite their out of the way location. I don't really know the Oconomowoc demographic well enough to say whether Sweet Mullets filled that hole in the market entirely, or just partially. It's an upscale area with tremendous population growth potential but is it the kind of consumer that will want craft beer? If ANYTHING a craft beer bar that's got good food will fly there, because that sort of thing will fly just about anywhere in Wisconsin. But I'd really be skeptical about it supporting just a craft beer bar or another brewery.
