You would think that these would go hand-in-hand but most of the clubs I go to see and perform have pretty poor beer selections.......until now.

I'm bummed that I won't be able to attend, but there are some great comics performing there.

If there is more interest about combining craft beer and comedy in Philly, send me a BM.

I'm curious why you think they go hand-in-hand?

Well - I'd think that most beer lovers like comedy - it is what most of us participate in while drinking, no?

I love going to see open mic and stand up shows, I'm also right outside of Philly.

On December 8, I'll be performing with about 4 or 5 other comics at Broad Axe Tavern. Their beer selection is fantastic for a place that has comedy. I've played there three times, and from memory I drank a Ten Fidy, a Stone RIS and a St.B Abt 12. They probably will have an open mic there that Tuesday (the 4th) as well.

Have actually been working on a business fan for a brewpub/comedy club with a delightfully puny name for a couple years now.. Tentative locations should I ever follow through and make it happen are the DC metro area and Burlington...
