Wow! These responses are amazin'! Thanks bros!

After some deliberation, I've decided to buy a few single bottles/cans of the beers suggested here and have my family (mostly non-craft beer drinkers) participate in a test panel.

    So far I got:

    • Paulaner Hefe (Live Oak tap only?)
    • Dogfishhead 60
    • Mosaic I.P.A.
    • Mama's Lil' Yella Pils
    • Founder's Breakfast Sout
    • Fireman's 4 (pairs well with the food we are serving)
    • Lambics (Kriek, Fram, Pomme)
    • La Fin Du Monde
This should go really well! Thanks again, guys!

One late add for the "light" beer (though you've got some great recs already) -- SS Bombshell Blonde. I recommend this to non-craft drinkers all the time, and it's almost always very well received.

I think you need to check with your local places that can sell you kegs to see what you can actually get as well....

Definitely check ahead of time to find out what will be available ahead of time. La Fin Du Monde and FBS would definitely be tough to grab kegs of, and as mentioned before be careful with the imported kegs (Paulaner and Lindemans) as the coupler to tap the keg will be different.

As for the selection, I'd personally swap out a few of those out-of-staters and put some more Texas stuff in the mix, but it is your wedding. Congrats on the marriage, you definitely scored a keeper if she's cool with a craft beer only wedding.

We are in Houston. My family is mostly from the central texas area and her family is mostly from the Houston area...

We are having less than 150 people (most are children, you know how mexicans are) so I say 80-100 are drinking. I am thinking of going with a 1/4 keg of Live oak (maybe 1/4 of firemans), but the rest just cans/bottles.

I love this beer, but I did a pairing test with the food we are serving and it seems out of the "lighter" beers (including Bombshell), Fireman's Four came out on top.
