Actually, I'll play because this seems fun. Here goes:

    10) With the 10th pick in the BA Mock Beer Draft, I select COAST Boy King. A long time favorite of the hometown crowd, Boy King has been know to impress even the most critical scouts. Although recently questions have arisen regarding consistency, when he's on his game he's up there with the best in the world.

    9) With the 9th overall pick, the Cleveland Browns select Westbrook Mexican Cake. Although this pick is sure to send the local fans into a frenzy of excitement, like all Cleveland Browns first round draft picks of the last decade, it is overrated and will no doubt ultimately lead to disappointment.

    8) The next pick in the BA Mock Draft, is COAST 32/50 Kolsch. The un-sexiest pick of the top 10, the beer analogous to an offensive guard. The best prospect of an underrated position, it may not be sexy, but its the kind of addition to your team that every franchise would benefit from. Performs particularly well when the competition stats to heat up.

    7) With the 7th pick in the BA Mock Draft, I select Bourbon County Brand Stout: truly an elite talent, but concerns arise due to the intangibles. His salary demands are high, and you already had to trade up to get him. Like Eddie Lacy, he's notably bigger this year, and its unclear how his size will present itself in the future. If he was guaranteed to always be available, he would no doubt be a higher selection; as is, he's quite needy but the potential reward is exceptionally high.

    6) With the 6th pick in the BA Mock Draft, Sierra Nevada Torpedo is selected: not the sexiest of picks; the defensive tackle of the beer world. A bit heavy at times, and not the most versatile, but remarkable consistency and can be a cornerstone for you franchise.

    5) With the next pick in the BA Mock Draft, I select Stone IPA: a great product, but like the second QB taken in the draft, he was probably selected higher than he deserves because of his style. No one doubts his talent, and everyone appreciates having him around, but you have to wonder where he would have been picked if he played a different position.

    4) The 4th pick in the BA Mock Draft, goes to Funky Buddha Last Snow: arguably the most talented prospect on the entire board, he's ready for prime time now, so get him on the field and he has the potential to dominate. However, the characteristics that make him great might also be his greatest weakness, as his additive attributes lead to concern that his prime will be short lived.

    3) The 3rd pick in the BA Beer Mock Draft goes to Westbrook Gose: light but flashy, packing a punch and always bringing it; Gose is the elite cornerback of the beer world. He knows how good he is, but always shows up and lives up to expectations. His unique attributes allow him to stand out amongst his peers. He may not be in a position to carry your franchise all by himself, but his presence can bring you up to the level of the elite.

    2) The second overall pick belongs to Founders Breakfast Stout. A top notch prospect that has proven he can get the job done at a high level. A steady force that can be relied on every Sunday, he particularly shines during the early games. Although his ceiling isn't as high as some of the "sexier picks", his consistency is remarkable and he will never let you down.

    1) With the first overall pick, I select Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. An elite entity, the type of prospect that can carry your franchise on its back for the next decade. Already big game ready, he's guaranteed to only get better with age. A once in a generation talent.

Its official, my beer nerd-dom has reached an all-time high.

"You gotta think about upside too here, people. That IPA has all the measurables of a first ballot hall of famer!"

It's got that perfect sweet n salty balance. And hey, "bars" can be circular too! Just like the round-table, it makes everyone an equal!
