I'm not a fan of the hard plastic rings most manufacturers use for packaging their cans, I prefer the boxes that Sixpoint Brewery uses to package their cans.

Woah....want! I'm a big fan of NEBCO's canned beers, Gandhi bot and 668 neighbor of the beast.

Brewery Vivant in Grand Rapids Michigan does all cans. They do a Farmhouse, Belgian IPA, Saison, Abbey and a dark Belgian style. They are all solid and nothing beats the Farmhouse from a can on a hot day.

Did not like this at all on draft, but I've heard it's much better out of the can.

I just tried my first Crafts in cans:

Golden Road's Point The Way IPA - EXCELLENT!
Golden Road's Hefeweizen - Very very good!

Both came in 6 packs of 16oz cans for $10.99 each. Not a bad deal.

So it appears that my HATE affair with cans is no longer!

Not a bad deal? It's a hell of a lot better than 6 12oz bottles for the same price. Where's golden road out of? I wouldn't mind trying to get my hands on some of that IPA.

I'm in the camp that doesn't care about the container, only the quality of the beer that's in it. I do welcome the increased selection of cans because they got some places that glass bottles don't.

I think this statement would definitely be up for debate. I mean, you did start this thread by referencing Heady Topper...

I didn't even think about it before, but what about craft beer at ball games now? Baseball, Football, Basketball, they could all have guys walking around selling Sierra Nevada, and other local breweries, instead of just bud light and budweiser.

-Or going to a NASCAR race where they allow you to bring in coolers and seeing folks in the stands trading cans of Three Floyds for Cigar City brews!

    -What? A boy can dream...
