Hello Everyone...I've been checking out the BA forums for about a year and have finally decided to create an account to occasionally post about the great beer I discover here and also for some insight. Not a beer expert by any means, but I am fairly passionate about what I like and love trying new beer and discussing beer with friends in social setttings. Living in the Tampa Bay Area, I'm fortunate enough to have a great scene around me. Not being a trader however, I decided to take a shot at some online beer sites to be able to obtain beer I can't get around here. I know that this can be a more expensive way to go, but I figured to do it once in a while for beers that aren't going to pop up on my local shelves anytime soon. I placed an order In January with Trappist World after reading the good reviews on here, and had a great experience. While the shippping was expensive, the beers arrived in just under 2 weeks and were packaged incredibly well.
In April, I placed an order with Craftshack after reading several pages of positive experiences on here. Sadly, I'm wondering if this was a bad move, and was hoping to get some advice on here how to proceed.
After 1 month and no sign of the beer(order showing unfulfilled on my account status) I sent an email to Craftshack inquiring as to the status. All beers were still showing in stock. I received a response the next day that my order was still unfulfilled and that they would have a supervisor look into it. 2 days later, and no response from a supervisor, I called and someone told me they would check with the warehouse as to why the order hadn't gone out. I never received a call back.
Over the last 2 weeks I have sent approx. 6 emails and left several voice mails for someone to call me back and tell me what happened with the order. I am unable to get a response, let alone a reason. I still get daily emails detailing new inventory, but nothing regarding my order that was placed on 4/21....and all beers continue to show in stock.
If I lost the money ($135) I guess it's a lesson learned. Just seems very odd for a company that appeared to be fairly well regarded on here. I'm most bummed about just not getting the chance to drink the beers I ordered. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to proceed or if this has happened before with Craftshack? Thanks!

Ordered from them 3 times and never had a problem. Don't know what the deal is. Why not call them?

You shouldn't be out the money. File a chargeback asap.

Yeah, if you get the credit card company involved they will either become responsive or you'll get the money back.

Good to know. If they don't make things right in the end, BM me. There's a reason I ask that.

My bad, some how missed that you called them. Agree with @Oktoberfiesta on the chargeback.

Thanks guys...I sent 1 final email and left another voice mail indicating my unhappiness with their lack of response and just wanted to know if there was any chance they would ship my beer or respond to my inquiry. No response yet (not surprising at this point). I figure I'll give it until tomorrow morning and then contact my credit card company.

On another note, any other recommendations for online beer sales here in the US? Not looking for super rare beers but am interested in releases by Cascade, Almanac, Anchorage, Lost Abbey and other west coast breweries that don't get all of their releases down to Florida.

I ordered from them a few times this past winter. There were a lot of delays, supposedly for the holiday rush, but they were fairly responsive to my inquiries. Definitely not speedy whatsoever, and I probably won't buy from them again since it took so long. I'm sorry for your shitty experience though, the frustrations with craftshack can be a huge turn-off for any chance at future purchases...
