Hey guys, wondering if anyone has any insight on this:

Brewing 1 gallon batch today and I think I'll have enough wort to use an additional fermenter aside from my one gallon carboy. I have a couple of clean growlers around that may work, but I don't have another airlock or blow-off tube. Anyone have any thoughts on a last-minute solution? I'd like to save this wort if possible, but if not, no big deal.

If you had more than 1 gal for a gal fermenter something went wrong with your recipe. You should have 30% headspace for active fermentation. Maybe someone can chime in who have actually done 1 gal batches, but I'd think working out of a growler is more work than it's worth.
