Anyone complaining about NJ or PA distro is a FUCKING idiot.
PA pricing and laws are totally different, but in terms of the opportunity to buy stuff, there's nothing to complain about whatsoever.

If it was relatively fresh, absolutely.
FWIW, you will pay that much in PA for Sculpin.

You could do much worse, all three offer decent to great in terms of value/flavor, although I can totally empathize with your desire for greater variety.

Exactly. Of the three states I hunt in, NJ has the best pricing, PA the best variety and distribution (but worst pricing/laws) and NY the best overall.

If you live in a rural area, it's time to take up homebrewing...

I live 3 blocks from one of the best liquor stores in Denver, the employees all love beer and wine, they even have a sommelier(spelling) who can recommend wines, great prices and fresh beer constantly! Shout out to Highland wine and liquor!

I take it you're from down south? We have the best, most wide ranging distribution here in Chicago.

Maybe Paradise is Muhlenburg County. Sorry, just saw John Prine Friday and the song is on my mind.

I'm 45 minutes from a store with a good selection and enough business to keep fresh inventory. About another 30 minutes to the next good store. Every few weeks I'll combine a beer stop with a night out to eat or with a honey-do shopping trip. The beer stop usually cost me a hundred and a half, or so. Prolly a good thing I'm 45 minutes away!

Honestly, they don't utilize the website as much for sales. Going in the store itself is worth a trip if you live in NY. Its amazing.

Ah, gotta love living in Vermont :grinning: Still miss a lot of the beer from my previous state of residence though (Colorado) but Vermont has seemed to do me just fine!

Maybe do 1gal trials until you find something you definitely could drink a couple cases of?

Same here man, it will be three years next month and I can't wait to bounce. The GF stores are garbage. I have placed several orders of different beers and were never notified when they came in. Its like they pride themselves on having 10 cashiers, but a substandard craft beer selection. Bridgeview liquors in Moorhead is great, and is worth the boring drive.

I have 2 great shops about 20 minutes in either direction from my house. I am a little removed from the city area but I can't complain. The local Food Lion Grocery store carries all of the good local stuff that gets wide distribution so if I don't feel like going far, I can go there and won't be without good choices.

They have the best user accessible website in the craft beer game. It is extremely easy to use, you can click on the hop intensity/brewery/ratings. How much easier do you want it? Far superior to sites like France44/Craftshack in terms of a user friendly website, but not in the customer service aspect.

I find a lot of the functions are gimmicky and yield results that don't match up. There are dead links and duplicate upcs with different prices.

What, no CCB where you are? I've got family in FL and every time I visit, at the bare minimum, there is fresh Jai Alai at Publix; 11 bucks a sixer. Granted, I'm always in the JAX area, so I have no idea what it is like where you are...
