    Hey everyone,

I am wanting to create a bucket list of beer, to get whenever the option is available. I find myself searching through the Top beer list and many beers that I would love to try are either crazy expensives or impossible to find unless some awesome trader is willing to hook me up. I don't want to spend more than $75 for a bottle beer.

So I was hoping some of you might have a idea of what should be on my list.

So far I had Black Tuesday, which is my current favorite beer.

Also an amazing trader is giving the hook up by sending a bottle of Hunahpu.

What other beers should I be on the look out for?

    Thanks for your help

If $75 is your max, I'll suggest these Russian imperials:
    Parabola
    Parabajava
    BA Ten Fidy
    Bourbon Barrel Plead the 5th
    Darkness & BA Darkness
KDS and variants (except ancient one)
    Marshal Zhukov
    Abraxas
Bourbon County, Regal rye, 2016 coffee & barleywine
Chocolate Rain, Mocha Wednesday, Grey Monday

There are plenty other great beers that will fit your price point, just don't expect to get Handjee or KBBS for $75 unless you have the most generous hook up ever.

EVERYONE should experience Dark Lord at least once. $20 bottle and not the most difficult to come by. Plus an experience you'll never forget....

If Black Tuesday is your favorite, look into getting Bruery Society Membership. You will need to find a trustee to pick up and ship your bottles. however, it will give you access to all of the days of the week.

Derivation. Preferably 5 or 6. But that's only if you're into pudding thick, rich as hell stouts

If Black Tuesday is your fav then you should look for other overly sweet weirdly thin beers with high ABV that taste more like coca cola than beer. Try to get a bottle of No Rules, it's in that same profile.

If you're trading and someone starts to mention secondary pricing or what their bottle sells for on the "secondary market", just say "Thanks, no thanks" and end it. In my experience the people wanting "secondary value" for their bottles are out to win from the start. Funny enough, they almost never mention the "secondary value" of your bottles, only theirs haha.

Yea, go ahead and try KBBS b1 and Bake Kujira magnum, and Vanilla Bean Assassin while you're at it. OP doesn't want to spend more than $75 on a beer and you know those are $1k beers.

I just meant derivation was a $50 bottle at the brewery. There will be more batches. Stl is not too far from Tennessee.....

Definitely try to score some of the Fremont KDS varieties.

Lots of good suggestions here, but I'll make it a point to second the nomination for Parabajava above.

Few other beers that I've found to be quite good but well off the hype radar:

Community Brewing BA Legion - the batch I had was like prime BCBS of memory's past

Old Hickory Lindley Park - reasonable alternative to Backyard Rye all things considered

FiftyFifty Vanilla Eclipse - MSRP of $30 but not too difficult to land around its release time

Port Older Viscosity - another pricey shelf beer at around $15-17 for a 375mL but it's great

Highland Park Brewing Griffith J Griffith - just trust me and get this  [personally I prefer the base to the BA version]

    Cheers

    Some of my favorites are
    Barrel aged speedway
    Java cask
    Caffe americano
    High westified
    Ground state
    BA ten fidy
    Wws
    BA Ivan the terrible
And my absolute favorites are mornin delight and another local, madhouse carpe diem, BA maple breakfast stout. You won't get mornin delight for $75, but its probably the easiest TG stout. They also should make more when the new brewery opens.
Wow just noticed how many coffee stouts are on that list.

All of the beers mentioned above are great.

If you're looking for something that's semi local (maybe regional is a better description), Wiseacre in Memphis puts out a great BA stout called Astronaut Status. It's only available once a year around December (to my knowledge) and this year's version was great... definitely something you may be able to trade for...

Another somewhat regional option for you (depending on where you are in TN) is El Gordo and the variants from Good People in Birmingham. Under the radar a bit but excellent. You'd probably have to trade for this as well but I don't believe it should be terribly difficult to obtain depending on what you have.

Beyond those that were already mentioned:
    Bells blacknote
Stouts by prairie artisan ales (their barrel adding program is killing it)
Jackie Os stouts and ba stouts
    Westbrook mexican cake

All kind of on that "stout hall of fame" list.

    Morning Wood
    Last Buffalo in Park
    Wide Awake Its Morning
Most KANE stouts especially ANTEADs and Brunches
    BA Vanilla Shake
    Abyss
    Double Barrel Jesus
    BA Silhouette
    Rum King
    Kentucky Christmas Morning
    Clare's Thirsty Ale

I'll second Jackie O's stouts - barrel aged and non. Ive had Champion Ground and Full Alottment recently and they were pretty rocking. Dark Apparition and the BA version is great too. Fairly readily available on the trade forum too.

No Rules, as noted, would probably be in your wheel house. Find some Dragon's Milk Triple Mashed for thinner, sweet high octane stuff.

Thirsty dog barrel aged siberian night and Arcadia barrel aged shipwreck porter are 2 lesser known, fairly aquireable and terribly underrated options to add in.
