I'm looking at getting into 1 gallon brewing. For various reasons none of the starter kits are a good fit for me, so I am trying to piecemeal one together. I'm going to start with a Northern Brewing recipe so I only need 1 fermenter. I already have a 2 gal pot and mesh strainer.

Here is what I am thinking of so far:

    Little Big Mouth Bubbler
    Airlock
    Blowoff Tube
    Mini Auto Siphon
    Siphon Hosing
    Bottler
    Swing Top Bottles

Anything I'm missing? Anything I can do without?

    Thanks!

If you don't have a thermometer yet, I'd add that to your list. It's important that you pitch your yeast at a safe temp. Later on if you get into larger batch sizes you'll want a wort chiller and a hydrometer to help make your brewing life easier.

    Thanks!

I'm good on thermometers - I've got both a probe and an instant read

extra grain bags. i like to put one on the end of the siphon when i'm bottling.

digital scale, if your hops or steeping grains aren't pre-measured.
