No real beef because I agree with your point (how bad/stupid/ridiculous Georgia's laws are) but I wish you'd given this thread a different title since there's not really anything wrong with Creature Comfort's tasting room. I love that place.

It was fun today for the Emergence release. You had to actually sign a sheet to say that you had taken a tour. Ridiculous.

While this witch hunt is pretty lame, the brewery did break the rules by not offering a tour. I'm not taking any sides in this but with all the red tape we're fighting and dealing with, brewery employees/volunteers should know they need to be dotting Is and crossing Ts to the extreme. The thing is, no one seems to know if a citation was issued, so where's the actual proof?

They did offer tours at the Emergence release, at least while I was there. Each hour, on the hour. I did participate. Before you could get a take home bottle, they asked if you had participated in a tour. If not, you couldn't pick up a bottle, or so I was told. Guess people could fib and say they had done one even if they didn't, all they had to do was sign saying they had participated in one. But CC was definitely running them that day.
