Oh crap, I didn't realize online would sell out. I hope there are still commemorative glasses available day-of.

Edit: when I click on the "reserve your stemware" link it still lets me buy a ticket? I just went through with the order process so if you're going you may want to pull that page up now...

Quick @weaverr and @PJ_ Either they nicely added more or there was some sort of glitch. Just got a ticket now.

Yes, yes you should. We will not have any for sale at the door. We will have these glasses for sale at our regular tour from 3-6 and online later, but most if not all of the special beers will be gone at that time. Sorry for those that got left out... we were planning on selling more originally but with 100% chance of rain forecasted we've limited the number.

Due to capacity issues, does this mean only people that buy a ticket in advance will be allowed at the 11-2 anniversary party? I just bought a ticket regardless, but I didn't know if I need to get in some sort of rain-soaked line at 10am to make sure I get in.

"You're at capacity? You must be mistaken, I talked to a person on the internet."

    Edit: Now sold out online.

Just to confirm @compton, when I bought my tickets last week (through the 'reserve your glassware' link) all the ticket says is "Creature Comforts One Year Anniversary Party, General Admission." I'm assuming that there aren't multiple kinds of tickets and that if you purchased ahead of time you've got a glass secured, correct?

Thanks for the heads up! My buddy was able to get one.

Yep, a glass equals entry. We have more glasses than what we've sold, so they will be for sale at a later date as well, but we don't have anymore space in our brewery. At this time a glass is considered a body for us and we've hit our capacity. So if you bought a glass already, you're good.

If you bought a glass, your space is reserved. There will not be any for sale at the door. We're going to do our best to keep people out of a line (and out of the rain) and check folks in early so when the taps start flowing at 11, you're inside with a glass and ready to go.

I'll start by saying, I love Creature Comforts, one of my favorite breweries! I do feel like there was some misinformation though. Everything I heard about the glass from CC was along the lines of "check out our cool anniv. glass, get one at the website" not "get your glass today as we feel we will be at capacity and it will be your only way to get in". I do apologize if I missed anything and am wrong about this. I only check here and your facebook. I along with other beer nerds have so much glassware from breweries that if I had a wife she would be breaking them over my head! I did not buy the glass (since I have tons) and did not know this would be the only way to get in. I got my whole family stoked to go to this and had to give them the bad news last night, my mom works in Athens. I thought we would still be able to get in line for general admission on Saturday without buying a glass.

Congrats to you guys for selling this thing out and for constantly putting out great beers. I just wish I knew it was going to hit capacity. Athens fire marshalls must be as **** as the ones who regulate on Wicked Weed!! Well, you live and learn and next year I'll buy the f'n glass presale for sure! Hopefully I can make it to Burnt Hickory.

To be clear @HopDawg03 you were going to bring your own glassware? Not that there is anything wrong with that but I agree with this gentlemen who made the statement earlier in the thread; no matter how many glasses you own. Can always give them away.
Only curious. But I agree, perhaps the verbiage could have been more clear cut.

I apologize for the confusion. We try to do our best to work within our legal system and unfortunately that means all we can do is sell glassware for these kinds of events, and naturally this brings along some confusion to the consumer since you guys see it in a more logical manner - you want to visit a brewery and buy beer, not glassware. Originally, there very well probably wouldn't have been any issues however because of the rain that is expected tomorrow we are limiting the amount of people by a factor of about half since we likely won't be able to use our parking lot as space and we still want the people attending to have a pleasant experience. Again, sorry you'll be missing out but thank you for the support.

Hell no dude, I'd never be that guy! I brew at a brewpub in Atlanta--been in this game for a while. I was bringing the family and we were gonna buy whatever damn glass they'd sell us. Sick anniv. glass or not!

Compton, kudos for you guys for thinking about the consumers! I just feel like this should have been done for ticket? / glassware as well. Say up front you need a ticket for entry or state the glass is the ticket. I would have bought tickets/glassware a long time ago. You guys rule and I know there are growing pains/ issues when your beer is so damn good and people want it. I'm stoked this is happening in GA--hell open up the outside area and let's do this J Wakefield hurricane style!!! I'll be there knee deep in the flooding!

Well, since it looks like this hit capacity, I won't be making it back for the anniversary. If anyone is able to snag an extra glass in the next week, I'd love to work something out with you. It sounds like glasses will be sold after the event and I won't be back in Athens until June now, so please hit me up if you have a spare to let go. I have plenty of beer and glassware to offer up.

Also, if anyone is going to Embrace the Funk next weekend at Yazoo and would want to work something out there, definitely hit me up. Bummed about missing out on this, but have fun!

Actually, this is the first time I'm happy we have terrible beer laws in GA! If you guys were releasing bottles of BA Koko Buni or the curiosity series and I got shut out over a damn glass--I'd proceed to find the closest metal door on your brewery and start banging on it and start yelling "Creature Comforts Sux" <--100% just kidding of course! I have seen it done at another brewery though

@compton like I said in a few tweets... after a year I am extremely impressed. the laws that restrict you are unbelievable. After a year you are on the same level as wicked weed IMO. I hope in the future the laws change and you can unleash the great curious series to the public and shine. After a year you are on that same level. Super impressed with all the things you have to deal with. coming from a wicked weed homer/lover that is saying something. Please keep doing and exploring as your manifesto says. best sour/funk program out of GA easy. No. 3 blew me away today.

Also I just recently came back from EBF and the great NE area. I can honestly say you are the first to successfully emulate that style of juicy bomb IPAs, pales, and double. Please continue that as I miss trillium and the likes. Thank you for a glorious event and I am excited to see what else comes from your camp in the future. (collaborate with wicked weed on a sour and I will die happy).

Curious #4 and Cucumber Lime Tritonia were my favorites. Could drink those all the time!

Great event and great beers. Weather turned out to be perfect. Only a couple beers I didn't get to try but overall I really liked the way the ticket system worked. The new DIPA and Pale were both really good and I'm looking forward to seeing them distributed.

I really wish GA legislators could see/understand what is going on here. Your passion and love for the community is unparalleled by most industries and businesses. Keep doing great things!
