    Hey All-

I'll be making my annual trip to Albany, GA to visit my wife's family. I am looking for CC Tropicalia this time. Can anyone give any tips on locating it? It is in supermarkets? Last time I was there I visited The Warehouse which had a pretty good selection. Anyone know if they stock CC beer?

Any other hop forward North East style IPAs I should be on the lookout for?

Edit to add (ask): Have you guys seen Oskar Blues Blue Dream IPA down there? Availability?

    Thanks All!
    Jesse

Creature Comforts is still in pretty high demand, so regular shipments don't seem to occur outside of Athens and Atlanta. It still does show up outside those two cities, just irregularly. Kroger is the supermarket that you'll find it in. If you're driving, how do you come through Georgia? In Atlanta, Green's, Hop City, Ale Yeah and Tower are all good options. Green's will respond on Twitter if you ask them the day you're traveling through. In Macon, Just Tap'd or Growler Spot are usually where it lands.

Orpheus Life.Death.Life.Truth., Sweetwater Hop Hash or IPA, Three Taverns Night on Ponce or any IPA from Burnt Hickory should be good. Jekyll Hop Dang Diggity, Monday Night Eye Patch and Southbound Hoplin are also good but they're going to be on the sweeter side.

We're flying in to GA from Hartford, then family is picking us up at the airport and we take 85>75 I believe. I know we pass through Macon. Thanks for all the tips. I will keep an eye on the growler spots in Macon. Do they do crowlers at either of those places or just regular growlers? Thanks again!

Just regular growlers, though they can fill any standard 32oz or 64oz growler if you want to bring your own. There are 2 Just Tap'd locations (Macon and Warner Robins) and they post their tap list on their website. Growler Spot has their tap list in a Facebook widget. Neither store posts their bottle/can inventory online, but they do occasionally post new arrivals on Facebook.

You likely won't find them. As it's been said in here and numerous other threads, Athens is the best shot for cans. Atlanta gets a small scattering once in a great while.

Greens on ponce. Trop will be hard to get unless it's released up there and you time it right.

Tues and Thursday are best days if it hits.

Exit 271 on 75 ( pretty sure thats right number ) for Kennesaw has a Total Wine that typically has it. U can order on their website and pick up at store if that helps. Just Tapd in Warner Robins has had it before...its exit 146 then east bout three miles...right behind McD's on the right....they also have a webaite with a taplist and are very helpful in regard to cans or bottled selection stock too.

@dson08 I'll be traveling through Athens tomorrow, could pick up some Tropicalia and meet Monday to deliver. Not sure if this is OK to offer on here, if so, moderators can delete. Text me at (404) 376-6674 if you want to discuss further.

@dson08 Thought I'd give it one more try.....can pick up some Creature Comforts in Athens later today, will be passing through on way home. I could deliver to you Monday as I live just north of Atlanta. See above email with my text info. If I don't hear from you, good luck on your CC search and enjoy your time in ATL.

Thanks, I tried. Didn't hear back on offer, but was able to pick up a couple sixers of Tropicalia canned on 11/11. Plenty of Athena was available too.

Can't get much fresher than that. In the planning stages with the wife regarding a trip to Athens (we've never been). Perhaps around the Holidays when the college crowd has thinned out a bit.

Enjoy your trip when you make it to Athens. I went to school there, still go back for football games, love the city. Make sure to drop by Creature Comforts when there.

Any word on when Koko Buni will be back on tap at the brewery and also when the cans will be released?

Koko Buni cans are coming in December. I'm not sure when it will be on tap at the brewery though.
