Creature Comforts Distribution

This is a bit of a longshot, but figured I'd take a stab at it. I'm going to be flying out of Atlanta the Sunday after Thanksgiving (driving from Birmingham, AL), and might have some time to grab some beers before I head home. It sounds like cans might be tough to come by, but is there anywhere near the airport (or on my way) where I might be able to find some Creature Comforts beers on tap?

Edit: Looks like I might be able to swing by The Porter Beer Bar without adding too much time to my trip. A worthwhile stop?

My brother is in Alpharetta and is thinking about going to Terrapin for the Wake n Bake release. Where in Athens can he find CC? Looks like there are 3 Krogers in the area. On a side note, is the Wake n Bake distributed at all?

 

Check those Krogers and both 5 Points bottle shops locations. I found some at fresh market this past weekend. WnB sees wide distro so should be tons on the shelf when you visit. They will prob. have some wnb variants at the brewery release though.

Was in the Kroger off Alps on Friday 11/13....there was one sixer of Tropicalia in the chilled section, plenty of Athena. There is usually some CC stuff in boxes laying to the side of the refrigerated section. If you don't see any, ask someone to check in the back. I was able to get another sixer of Tropicalia on recent trip by asking if more in the back. And they were canned on 11/11.

 

Alps Kroger just got a bunch today, as did 5 Points.

 

Because I work in Albany, I can state as a fact there are no Creature Comforts brews here. I get them occassionly when friends are either in Athens or I make my way to Atlanta.

 

@Hedeen and @CreatureComforts and everyone else in the know, where are some good shops near Kennesaw that I can grab Burnt Hickory, Orpheus, and Creature Comforts beers on the 30th of this month? Last minute trip got scheduled to go down there for work, hoping for a bottle shop if possible. I know of the Fort Oglethorpe location for a good stock up, but is there anything a bit more convenient to pull of to coming down/going back to Knoxville TN?
